The Adventures of Tom Sawyer first appeared in 1876, and is Mark Twain's most famous work. Tells about the adventures of a boy named Thomas Sawyer who is usually called Tom. Tom Sawyer is a wayward, adventurous curly-haired boy. He always tries to escape from Aunt Polly's strict rules and from his cousin, Sid, who is always watching and ready to tell his aunt about him. Clever Tom can always turn sadness into joy, which sometimes makes his friends jealous. Tom has always had the sense to create his own adventures. Together with his loyal friend, Huckleberry Finn, he releases forests, uninhabited islands, endless caves, to haunted houses. And they experience adventures that are funny, exciting, and thrilling at the same time. The climax of Tom and Huck's adventure is when they find something very valuable, which instantly changes their life totally.
