Phileas Fogg is a man from England who lives in solitude. Despite his wealth, Fogg lives a simple life. His mindset is very mathematical. There was nothing special in his life, except that he was a member of the Reform Society.
With an article in The Daily Telegraph reporting on the opening of a railroad in India, Fogg becomes involved in a gamble with members of the Reformed Society. Fogg emphasized that now anyone can travel around the world in eighty days, and finally accept the challenge with a bet of 20,000.
Accompanied by Passepartout, Fogg started his journey from London at 8:45 pm, 2 October, by train. As agreed, he was supposed to return to London on December 21, exactly eighty days. Fogg begins his long journey around the world filled with fun and thrilling adventures that he had never imagined
