In 1993 Greg Mortenson, a mountain climber from the United States, had a passion for conquering the world's second highest mountain peak in the Himalayas. His going to the top of the mountain on a mission as the highest honor for his younger brother who just died, he wanted to put his brother's stone necklace on the peak, the mission not only failed but instead conveyed it to another mission to uphold peace. : set up schools one by one.
